The 2026 Planting Initiative, “A New Light,” builds on the foundation laid by the Buntains in Kolkata, where their decades of faithful ministry have led to churches, schools, and compassion initiatives that continue to reach millions today. Now, in the rapidly growing district of New Town—with little to no Christian presence—there is a clear opportunity to establish the first permanent Worship & Education Centre to serve a rising generation of families, students, and professionals. Through your partnership and generosity, this initiative will plant a church, launch a school, and provide vocational training—bringing both the message and the tangible love of Jesus to a community in need.
